There are plenty of beautiful things to discover close to the campsite. How about Avignon? This beautiful town is about eight kilometres from the campsite. Avignon is a gem to be discovered with its unique bridge and the Pope's Palace. This world-famous palace is a great place for the whole family to visit, they even have special guided tours for families with children. If you are on holiday in July at Camping L'Île des Papes, you can experience the Avignon Festival with theatre for young and old. If you want to visit even more places, the towns of Orange, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Arles are a bit further away, but well worth the effort.
