You can relax on the loungers around the swimming pool. Adults can take part in water polo and aqua gym during high season, and if the weather is not so good, you can go to the indoor pool.Nice and busyThere is an entertainment programme for both young and old and you can enjoy a drink at the bar. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, you can get a take-away meal. Sports enthusiasts can play tennis on the new tennis courts. With its lovely swimming pool and the beautiful South of France sandy beaches at your doorstep, you can be certain of a camping holiday with days of fun in the water.A drink by the waterThe campsite is located on a strip of land between the Mediterranean and the Lake of Ingril, so you can jump into the waves at any time of the day. And the Tam Tam Beach Club will serve you a drink when the time is right. The campsite's swimming pool has an unusual shape which gives you the feeling you are in a whole series of small swimming pools. That gives it a pleasant ambiance. After your swim you can relax on a sun lounger around the pool, while enjoying a drink from the bar of course. Playmates are never far away.Cycle past salt flats and vineyardsThe area around the campsite offers plenty of opportunities for trips out. The towns of Montpellier and Sète are within cycling distance. You will see plenty of birds and other natural treasures in the inland seas between these towns. This was formerly a salt extraction area. The old salt pans are now protected natural areas. The Gardiole is located further inland, this is a lovely walking area with medieval remains and even prehistoric buildings. And this is where you will find beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and lovely views over the sea. The vineyards producing the sweet Muscat wine are famous here. You really should sample them… Day trips further away include Carcassonne or the Gorges de l'Herault.

That makes a day "at home" not such a bad thing at all! Abundance of water funAlthough the Dordogne is not located by the sea, you really won't miss it at Le Carbonnier. The campsite offers more than enough swimming fun opportunities for both young and old. For a refreshing dive, you are welcome in one of the many pools. For the little ones, there is plenty to enjoy in the water playground and the heated toddler pool. For the older ones, there are also a heated indoor pool and various outdoor pools available! On the park's multiple slides, the whole family is sure to have fun all day long. And you can relax wonderfully on a sun lounger by the water. Getting activeThen it's time for action again! For some necessary cooling, jump back into the water for a session of aqua gym, but there's also plenty to do on dry land. Fishing, football, table tennis; you name it, it's possible at Le Carbonnier. For the children, there is of course free animation and themed evenings are organized. They entertain themselves during their other hours in the playground or on the bouncy castle. Castle-rich DordogneIn the rolling hills of the Dordogne, you will find plenty of beautiful sights for a day out. The region is dotted with beautiful villages and towns, castles, and caves. And we haven't even mentioned the delicious meals and fine wines yet! The caves of Lascaux and Gouffre de Proumeyssac are a must for the whole family. Towns like Sarlat and Brantôme are perfect for afternoon strolls and shopping. And don't forget the wide range of castles! Beynac-et-Cazenac is the most famous and definitely worth a visit. Quiet family campsiteAlthough there is plenty to do in and around the park, every day you return to a tranquil ambiance at the campsite itself. Since the region has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, you generally don’t have to push through crowds of people. These include trips out to Bénodet, Quimper, Locronan or the artists' village of Pont-Aven. Active days out, e.g. canoeing and kayaking on the lovely River Odet, are a great idea.
