In the western French region of Vendée, Camping Les Amiaux is situated in an extensive park of 16 hectares, just 700 metres from a beach of fine sand and on the edge of woods. The perfect family holiday in the VendéeIt's time for a holiday in the Vendée! This French campsite is located between the dunes and the beach. You will be staying next to the village of Fromentine. Camping Sandaya La Grande Côte promises you a holiday full of sun, sea and sand, but also of salt flats. mussels and oysters. You will have the ultimate beach holiday here on the west coast of France.On the beach at FromentineThe campsite in La Barre-de-Monts is located in woodland. The grounds are large and have pine trees which offer plenty of shade. It has an open and friendly ambiance. Just beyond the dunes you will be on the beach at Fromentine. You will be staying right by the sea, so take your swimming costume! There is also a heated swimming pool and a children's pool and sunbathing area on the campsite, so you can have a wonderful swim in the sun.Clubs for every ageYou will be surrounded mostly by French people at Camping Sandaya La Grande Côte. That's really cool, especially if you want to practice your French. But your kids will not be bored for a minute, the entertainment is in English as well as French, although language is not that important in a day filled with fun games. There are three clubs, one for each age group. And if you want an active holiday yourself, this is the place for you. Learn archery, take part in a fitness lesson or try windsurfing on Fromentine's beach!Swimming and moreYou can have an enjoyable swim in the campsite's heated swimming pool, but if you prefer salt water, head towards the sea. You can have a wonderful swim there, but also go surfing, SUP or try one of the other watersports.Sweet bread rolls for breakfastThis is the place for good food! The campsite has a bar, a snack bar and a barbecue area. Make sure you have time to cook your own hamburger or bake some vegetables. If you like the idea of a fresh breakfast, order some(sweet) rolls from the bakery service. There is an Intermarché supermarket two and a half kilometres away where you can do all your daily shopping.Off to the islandTime to get on your bike! There are extensive cycle routes around the campsite. Go with everyone to the island and visit the salt marshes. Salt is still collected here by dozens of salt workers, and you can have a guided tour in the high season. The Passage du Gois is also very interesting, this road disappears under water twice a day. You might find it hard to believe unless you see it with your own eyes! There is a small amusement park for children at Noirmoutier. It has a minigolf course, a miniature train and bumper boats. And of course you can just go to the beach for a day on the island. Visit the fishing port of l'Herbaudière, admire the boats and sit down at a pavement café. Life is good!

Enjoy the large swimming pool complex beside the seaYou can enjoy your holiday on the French Côte de Lumière in rural surroundings between woods and jagged rock formations. A path of about 100 metres will take you from Camping Sandaya Le Littoral to the azure blue water of the Atlantic Ocean. There is also plenty to do on the campsite with its extensive swimming park, bouncy castles and energetic entertainment team. You don't need to leave this French campsite if you want to enjoy a delicious meal and a good glass of wine.A spacious campsite in the VendéeThe Pays de la Loire region is located in the south-west of France. Sunny Vendée forms part of this and has a beautiful coastline stretching for more than 200 kilometres! Camping Sandaya Le Littoral is located between the resorts of Les Sables-d'Olonne and Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. The second of these towns has a market every day. The area around the campsite has very little differences in height, making it perfect for a lovely bike ride through the dunes with the children.Leisure pool with heated waterChildren know how to get the best out of the gigantic leisure pool. The water in the spacious open-air swimming pool is heated, making it perfect for sports addicts who like to swim a few lengths every day. If you want to lie in the sun on a sun lounger under a palm tree, you can choose from several terraces around the water park. If you prefer to get out of the sun, it's fun to play inside and use the slide in the covered water playground. If you want a day on the beach, pack your swimming things and take the free shuttle bus to Les Sables-d'Olonne's lovely beach.Colourful cottagesAll the glamping accommodation is positioned under tall pine trees. The cottages have an attractive appearance and are neatly laid out in two special areas with natural bushes and hedges. You can relax in the shade on your own patio, and if you want a bit of action or something to eat, walk to the lively square with its restaurant, water park and small shop.Theme park and picnicsYour kids will have to get out of the pool for a day out to Puy du Fou. This lovely theme park is a half hour drive away. You can enjoy plenty of professional performances with birds of prey and knights on horseback! The Viking Village will make an impression on people of all ages. If you like the idea of a picnic on a wonderful beach, the Plage Le Veillon is located three kilometres from the campsite, with almost a kilometre of dunes bordering onto the beautiful natural backdrop of the woods.

The campsite itself does not provide any activities, but its location makes up for that. The headland is real cycling country, lovely and flat. You can rent bikes at the campsite, then you can cycle to the woods, salt marshes, attractive harbours and French villages. Grab some lunch on the way, or maybe a café au lait. There is also horse riding close to the campsite. You can take riding lessons and then go with your horse to the beach. If you don’t feel like cooking at the end of the day, just walk to a restaurant/snack bar about 100 metres from the campsite.From an underwater world to cultureIn addition to all the ‘must-do’ things in the area, there are plenty of ‘must-see’ things. The children will love a visit to the Sealand aquarium. You can immerse yourselves in the underwater world of fish and there is a seal show. You can discover culture from Camping Sandaya de la Bosse, such as the medieval castle at Noirmoitier. The town of Noirmoutier-en-l’Île is attractive with its small harbour, shopping streets and many restaurants. This is all about enjoying what France has to offer, both inside and outside the campsite.

Lovely family campsite on the Atlantic coastThis lovely family campsite is located on the Atlantic Coast close to the towns of St. Nazaire and Nantes. The sea, beach and centre of the village of La Bernerie-en-Retz are within walking distance (400 metres). You and your family will not be bored at this campsite in France. Wonderful water park and leisure poolCamping Les Écureuils has a fully renovated water park and leisure pool with heated swimming pool, slides, jacuzzi, waterfall and a safe children's area with games. You can relax on the loungers around the swimming pool. Adults can take part in water polo and aqua gym during high season, and if the weather is not so good, you can go to the indoor pool.Nice and busyThere is an entertainment programme for both young and old and you can enjoy a drink at the bar. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, you can get a take-away meal. Sports enthusiasts can play tennis on the new tennis courts. You can also play boules on the new bowling green, enjoy the trampoline and the multisports field . And don't forget: table tennis! Mussels and other shellfishThe Atlantic beaches are just 400 metres away. You can swim in the pool filled with sea water and learn to sail at the sailing school. At low tide, you can go fishing for mussels and other types of shellfish! There is plenty to see in the area. You can enjoy the nearby fishing villages. The charming fishing harbour at Pornic is highly recommended. You can also visit the Noirmoutier aquarium, explore the islands or visit the salt museum in Batz.
